MECH RAMBLER

I've been wanting to do a Mech of sorts for a while and though initial roughs and thumbnails I developed an idea that was based more on an apes proportions than a humans.

It went through many iterations - Military with mounted weapons? None Military? Flight capable? I finally settled on steering away from the trend of it just being a walking tank and hopefully produced something that could be imagined scouting for resources on some distant planet.
When my ZBrush skills have improved enough I plan on adding a spacesuited figure to give it instant scale. There is a pilot in there if you look closely enough but it definitely needs a guy on the ground alongside it.
